I have always had 100% positive feedback - that is,until December 2016. One buyer, who never contacted me to tell me they had a concern or problem, left negative feedback. To this day I do not know why or what their issue was. It was discouraging, and with the high fees on this platform, I chose not to sell on eBay for the past year. I have a thriving ‘vintage’ shop on another platform that specializes in handmade and vintage goods, and limited my selling to there. I represent all my items honestly, and some items I have to sell are not 20 years old as required on the other platform to qualify as ‘vintage.’ So I am back to sell a few items on eBay before Christmas. Regrettably, eBay recalculates feedback percentages every year, thereby not so subtly requiring sellers to sell large amounts of goods annually, or risk facing a terrible feedback percentage in the event of an unreasonable person leaving a negative. And so, my current feedback percentage as a seller does not represent the level of quality that you can expect from my goods or my service. The (Not so) Fine Print Mobile app may not reflect correct shipping cost - EBAY GLITCH MAY ERRONEOUSLY SHOW FREE SHIPPING. Please email with any questions. Bidders with five or fewer feedback are asked to contact me before bidding, or I reserve the right to cancel your bid. I’m sorry for the inconvenience to new ebayers, but non-paying bidders have been a problem on ebay lately. My items are guaranteed to be as described. However, I’m human, and if damage was missed or an item inadvertently misrepresented, I do accept returns. I work very hard to make your ebay purchase an enjoyable experience, just as I hope for when making my own purchases on eBay. Each piece is meticulously inspected, and any damage described as thoroughly as possible. However, manufacturing flaws in glass or pottery are not considered damage. These variations are common in vintage manufactured ware and in hand-thrown pottery. Glass may have straw marks, bubbles, fly ash, bits of adhering frit, or other unique marks. Pottery may have glaze skips and pops, or a slight color difference from some other piece you may be trying to match. I do describe these too, at great length, but what may seem serious to you may seem less so to me. I ask you to email me with your questions before the end of the auction if any of these types of issues are of concern to you, or refrain from bidding if they would bother you on receipt. Items are from a pet free, smoke free home. Combined shipping is cheerfully available in most cases - please ask before the auction ends, as certain things are too large, fragile, etc. to ship together safely. Local pick-up is free and encouraged. All questions are welcome - please ask them before you bid. Thanks for your interest!
