Product Description:

Made by Jane and Ralph Whitehead, circa 1913-29, in their pottery studio located in the attic of White Pines, their home at the Byrdcliffe Arts and Crafts school and colony in Woodstock, New York. I purchased this piece from the Arts and Crafts scholar/ dealer Robert Edwards in 1999. It has glaze numbers inscribed to the base, but no signature. It does however, come with the original receipt listing it as White Pines. Prior to Robert Edwards the piece was owned by Jill and Mark Willcox, Jr., descendants of Ralph Whitehead. White Pines pottery is included in many prestigious museum collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art . The vase is 7" tall and in mint condition.
