Rosa and Winton Eugene Contemporary Folk Art Pottery Teapot South Carolina
For your consideration is a fine contemporary southern folk art pottery teapot by the husband and wife potters Rosa and Winton Eugene. Their work depicts people and places drawn from their personal experiences in their native Cowpens South Carolina. This example features two pairs of relief portraits of African American women. With the lid, this teapot measures 9 1/2 inches tall, and it is 6 1/2 inches across the body excluding the handle and the spout. The bottom is signed Winton-Rosa Eugene, Cowpens SC. The bottom is also dated 05/04. The teapot and lid are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or other problems. It's an excellent example of Rosa and Winton's artistry. Bid with confidence, this teapot is guaranteed to be as described.
