Product Description:

Please check out my 100% Positive feedback and bid with complete confidence. (And please check out the other beautiful pots that I have on eBay.) You are bidding on a vintage museum quality vessel by ceramic legends Vivika and Otto Heino. DESCRIPTION: This exceptionally thrown pot is a wide-bellied form with a gently raised lip and a beautifully proportioned base. It has a creamy white glaze that is further adorned with hundreds of “floating” speckled brown markings. This highly collectible Heino measures 5 1/4” at its widest and stands 4” tall. It is in mint condition- no chips, cracks or repairs- and is signed by the Heinos on the bottom. ABOUT VIVIKA AND OTTO HEINO: Ojai ceramic artists Vivika and Otto Heino worked as a team until Vivika's death in 1996. True pioneers of the American Studio Pottery movement, they went on to win international acclaim for the technical and aesthetic mastery of their work. They used simple forms, flawlessly thrown, as a vehicle for their varied glazes, which they developed through years of experimentation and study. Otto continued their legacy on his own until his passing in 2009. Heino pots are included in the permanent collections of virtually every major ceramics museum and are coveted by collectors worldwide. SHIPPING: Winning bidder pays for insured USPS Priority shipping. Winning New York bidder pays applicable state sales tax. International shipping charge is $55. Winning international bidders are responsible for any import taxes imposed by their particular country. Payment via PAYPAL is due within five days of the end of the auction. THANKS for looking and GOOD LUCK.
